On October 17th, the first Guangzhou Sourcing Fair (GSF) Houseware & Hardware, jointly organized by Global Sources, Poly Exhibition, and Grandhub concluded successfully at Poly World Trade Center Expo, Guangzhou (PWTC Expo). As a highly efficient business matchmaking platform, the three-day sourcing fair attracted a total of 17,566 professional buyers from many countries and regions, where 1,698 source matchings were completed.

With an exhibition area of nearly 20,000 square meters, GSF featured nearly 400 exhibitors showcasing the latest products, technologies, and services in hardware and tools, outdoor products, household appliances, and consumer electronics.

 

The organizer fully mobilized and integrated the high-quality international buyer resources of Global Sources, Poly Exhibition, and Grandhub, and gathered 17,566 importers, wholesalers, traders, and retailers on-site, including Lenta (Russia), Nitori (Japan), Hobby Lobby (USA) Hong Kong, Running (Mexico), JUMI (Poland), TMG (Thailand), and JB SAEED (Pakistan).

Jaap van Vreden from NL Platform, a Dutch company, gave high recognition to GSF, saying that it had offered many surprises and set the stage for their cooperation with at least four or five exhibitors. Lenta, a Russian retail chain, also met suitable suppliers and found many new products at GSF. He believed that GSF has built a platform that connects buyers and suppliers, which has greatly enriched his choices.

During the three-day exhibition, GSF completed a total of 1,698 source matchings, with 268 exhibitors participating enthusiastically. Both the supply and demand sides were exciting for the readily available business opportunities.

 

Yongkang Luosi Tool Manufacturing Co., Ltd. received orders totaling 120,000 US dollars from two buyers on the same day, and the head of the enterprise said excitedly: "The effect of this exhibition is remarkable, we are confident in getting more orders through this exhibition. We plan to book a booth in the events of the next spring and fall and upgrade it from 9㎡ to 36 ㎡. "Guangdong Zuolong Metal Products Co., Ltd. matched with more than 30 counterpart buyers during the three-day matching session and reached a strong cooperation intention with Michél Haese from Germany.

 

In addition, Yantai Greener Tools Co., Ltd, Taizhou Hengming Plastic & Mould Technology Co., Ltd, Jiangsu Smile Tools Co., Ltd, Shanghai Xiangheng Hardware Tools Co., Ltd, Yuyao Golden Sun Tools Co., Ltd, Jiangxi Kangwei Aluminum Science & Technology Co., Ltd, Shandong Jinteli New Material Co., Ltd, Guangdong Lesso Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd, and Guangdong Berry Lion Tools Co., Ltd. have matched up with different buyers. Completed effective pairing, they will be with the buyer for product plant visits, send samples, quotes and other next steps. Rome Tech from the US said that the business matchmaking session had helped them expand their supplier pool, “We are very rewarded by this business matchmaking session. We have met many suppliers and are very much looking forward to cooperating with them.”
